COVID-19 AND MASKING POLICY

We strongly encourage our membership and audiences to wear masks and stay up to date on vaccinations. Singing is a high-risk activity for COVID-19 transmission and our members work and live in a wide variety of environments.

Masking at Calliope concerts and events ensures these spaces are safe and welcoming for all members of our community.

If you have any questions or concerns about this policy (particularly interested singers should non-masking affect your ability or desire to participate with the choir), please email board@calliopewomenschorus.org.

For singers:

Masking during rehearsal is currently at the member’s option and preference. In the event of a surge which results in area medical facilities moving to mandatory masking, masking may be required at the determination of the Board of Directors.

Members are expected to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness. Members experiencing COVID symptoms are highly encouraged to test and must notify their section leader or a member of the Board of Directors as soon as possible in the event of a positive COVID test result.

Calliope strongly encourages members to remain up-to-date on vaccinations and expects members to take responsible steps to limit transmission.
