Sing with us

If you love to sing and are interested in joining the chorus, audition to sing with us! We invite prospective singers to join us at a rehearsal to see what we are all about. Our music director will perform a casual audition to learn more about you as a singer—your skills, vocal range and experience. This is also an opportunity to ask questions about Calliope!

Join our board

Calliope is a feminist organization committed to promoting social change through the arts. We are looking for members willing to support our mission through participation on our Board of Directors. Board members can be singers or non-singing members.

Meetings are held monthly to help guide the organization. Calliope is in a time of growth and transition—a truly exciting time for members to impact change and help support the sustainability of this unique organization. Volunteer!

Calliope’s “Descant Section” is for non-singing members to volunteer with the chorus. Examples of volunteer responsibilities include: assisting with concerts, auditions, promotions, social events, etc. Please contact us for more information on how you can help support the chorus through these and other activities!
