Give to the Max Day is this Thursday, Nov. 13, and Calliope supporters are invited to join in during this annual “24 hours of giving.”
We have ambitious goals this year, and every donation of any amount helps!
Money received through online donations will be used for important Calliope programming costs, such as purchasing new music and securing a larger venue this year for our performances. We also want to continue to allow singers to participate regardless of economic status as we grow in numbers–we will never turn away a singer based on an inability to pay.
Perhaps most important, funds raised this year will help us plan for meaningful celebrations to recognize our upcoming 40th anniversary. This includes commissioning a piece of music that will inspire singers and audiences for years to come.
This Thursday, we ask you, our supporters, to help us as much as you can on Give to the Max Day so we can reach our goals and continue our work as a feminist chorus dedicated to promoting social change through song.
