It’s a new season, and the Calliope lineup has grown! Fall tryouts were a great success, and more than a dozen new singers have decided to sing with us.

We are so excited to welcome new voices and fresh perspectives to our “co-op”!

Calliope’s Sept. 19 rehearsal was both the first potluck of the season (yum!) and the annual business meeting.

Four vacant positions on the board allowed several new members to take on leadership roles, and a returning singer who has previously not served on the board was nominated and elected to vice president.

In addition to board elections, the chorus discussed committee assignments. New members are stepping up to serve on committees and improve our community outreach and internal communications. Look for exciting things to come of this new influx of energy soon!
